Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
A fine person, I will never forget the coffee chats we shared at Hardees. Jake
Condolence to the family and many friends of William H. Stanley. He was a staunch supporter and advocate in the early days of College Foundation, Inc. and the NC State Education Assistance Authority whose joint mission was to ensure the postsecondary education of persons of meager means. While President of the NC Bankers Association and thereafter, his influence within the industry was critical to our success. He was, indeed, a gentleman of Southern charm and dedication to service. Stan C. Broadway, former founding staff director of CFI and former Executive Director of NCSEAA
My sincere condolences to the Stanley family for your loss. I know that William will be truly missed. During this time of sorrow, mediating on Jehovah promises found in his word the Bible, regarding the end of death(Isa. 258), and the hope for our loved ones (John 528, 29) can bring us comfort-2 Cor. 13, 4. Please feel free to visit our official website, http://www.jw.org, go the Publications tab, go to books, and search for the book, What does the Bible Really Teach, and consider Chapter 7, Real Hope for Our Loved Ones Who Have Died! You can read this online, or download it. Please feel free to e-mail me at [emailprotected] if you have any questions. May your family be comforted!
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stanley family. I have fond memories of Mr. Stanley at Peoples Bank. He cared about his employees and took the time to share coffee with us in the cafeteria prior to starting our day. I always thought how neat it was for the leader of the bank to take time to get to know his employees. Thank you Mr. Stanley for your kindness. You were a great leader and very respected among us.
