Our last meal together was wonderful as always and when Peggy and Faye got up to clean, Tom began to chat. We talked a lot of small talk and then Tom said, “Sam, have you ever thought about what it’s going to be like in heaven?” Stunned, I said no sir. Tom said, “Well I have and it’s going to be just beautiful! And, I think there is going to be a forest and my legs and feet won’t hurt anymore and I’m going to walk and walk and walk! And you know what I’m going to do then?” By this time, I was so shocked, stunned, and mystified, I said, No Sir! He said very wide eyed, ” I’m going to walk some more!’
Faye joins me in expressing our love for Tom, Peggy and family and our sincere prayers for you all!
WALK ON TOM!
