Guestbook

  1. Debbie, and James, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.Even though I havent been around in quite some time I have been keeping up with how Bellamy was doing through my dad and was shocked by the news just yesterday.Your family has always been a highly spoken name in my house, from dad serving with Bellamy in the Guard to the years James and I were in elementary school together theres rarely ever been a time I can remember in which dad wasn’t keeping in contact and keeping us updated on how the family was, or trying to catch up a little with James when I’d run into him. I know Jimmy will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. If there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to contact me. Thoughts and prayers, Cassie

  2. Jimmy was a year ahead of me @ school. We were both Blue Demon basketball players & he drove my school bus, # 36. He was a great guy, may God be with you in this time of sorrow. J. Martin Gaither, Roanoke Rapids, Enfield High Class of ’71.

  3. Sincere Sympathy is sent to you filled with prayer and thoughts during this time. Robert and Barbara Hendricks

  4. Debbie, I was truly sorry to hear of the passing of Jimmy. My prayers are with you and your family at this time. I was an old friend from Enfield days. My God be with you at this time. I grew up knowing all of Jimmy’s family and his loss has recalled many memories of the past. Jimmy was a great guy and I know he will be missed. Sallie Viverette Bailey

  5. It’s hard to know what to say. People from my childhood, the aquaintances, the good friends are all leaving us. One really feels the march of time and the sadness of the heart with these losses. Jimmy was a memorable character from my childhood. He had a great sense of humor and was a friendly person to be around. What would riding the school bus be without Jimmy and his brother Nicky driving it Those who rode it all those years ago remember it as being a lot of fun. It’s hard to express sentiments about Jimmy without thinking how difficult his last years must have been. Not only were there serious health problems to address, but the pain he must have felt to see his entire family go before him over the years. Father, mother, sister, and brother. What does one say when an entire family is lost It can’t be put into words. But there are spouses, children, and grandchildren who can and must carry this family’s legacy along, so that its tragedies will not have been in vain.
