Guestbook

  1. It’s with a heavy heart that I write. I did not know Mr. Herbert (Just Herbert) very long, but I enjoyed talking with him. We talked mainly about our families, he spoke mainly about his grands and how he enjoyed them, we tried to talk business but always about family. I will miss the conversations we had. He was a good man. Ben Jordan Edwards Wood Products

  2. Dear Anne and family My most sincere condolences to all of you. Herbert was such a nice man and a most great neighbor. A truly special person. It will be hard every day not to see him ride off or come home in his truck — wave or wait for me to pass before he backed out of the drive, have him stop me to say hello and how are you doing, or bring me something from his wonderful garden. I too know from some folks about lots of the most kind things he did for so many others in need. Your loss is so deeply felt by me and all of us on Hawthorne Road. May God be with you all. Ann King your neighbor

  3. Dear Ann and the Family I am going miss Herbert he was a great friend of mine. I was the one that canned his tomatoes and make the tomatoes juice and pickles and the grape jelly for him. He was also a great friend when I my husband pass away last September. He will always have a special place in my heart. He told me how he grew his tomatoes, but mine would not grow like his all I can say he had the touch. I know that Jimmy had his hand out to greet him in heaven. He will be truly miss by many.
