  1. Frank & family, My heartfelt sympathy, prayers, and love to all of you. Dora was one of the best – such a beautiful spirit and a true loving, caring southern lady with a smile and hug for everyone. She has been a great blessing and friend to all of us at Westminster. Rest in peace Dora. With love, Debbie Wilson

  2. They whom we love and lose are no longer where they were before. They are now wherever we are. Rest In Peace Mrs. Haggard. You will be missed dearly. The Sierdy Family

  3. Frank and Family, I am deeply saddened to hear of Dora’s passing. I am so thankful to have been blessed to be your neighbors over 13 years. On cool days, I would call her and ask if she was enjoying the cool weather on her back porch. She would reply, yes, come on over. She would greet me with Hey, Precious or Sweetie or Darling. We’d sit and talk about the the Lord, watch the birds at the feeders, life in general and our families. Dora has fought a good fight, has finished her course, and has kept the faith …. Sweet Lady, your crown awaits you! Wear your crown with that beautiful smile. May God’s gentle peace comfort you during this most difficult time.

  4. Frank & Family; I just learned of Dora’s passing and the word sad is not even close. Dora brought sunshine and love into my life and I will miss her; especially our mornings together eating freshly baked doughnuts. Frank and Family please be comforted by the fact that Dora was blessed with the spirit of love and caring and made sure that all who knew her basked in her love. May the LORD bring you comfort. My prayers are with you. Your neighbor and friend, Richard Apley

  5. I remember Dora the most from growing up with her on Short St many years ago, and attending school with her at Bassett and West Edgecombe. I saw her last at a birthday celebration for my sister a few years back. God bless each one in her family and all who knew her.

  6. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dora’s family. We loved Dora so much and looked forward to her sweet smile and laugh at the West Edgecombe Class get togethers. We will miss her so much. Rest in peace dear Dora.

  7. I’m sorry to hear about the death of Mrs. Haggard. Death is a tragic event that all of us must experience. We miss our love ones and want to talk to them whenever we get some good news. Thankfully, we have the promise of the resurrection to look forward to. Stated at Acts 2415, there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. God always comes through with his promises. Wishing the family well.

  8. To Frank and Dora’s family my deepest sympathy. I will miss Dora’s smile n happy personality; she was always so friendly and would sit and talk for a while when she came in the Belmont Community Center. Dora will be missed by all.

  9. Dear Family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Dora. May you be comforted beyond measure as you reflect on the solid promise of a resurrection for all who have died. (John 528-29) Almighty God cannot lie, his promises are our guarantee and will soon become our reality. (Titus 12) JW.ORG

  10. Frank and Famiy, We are broken-hearted at the loss of our dear friend and neighbor, Dora! The only word that comes to our mind when we think about Dora is lovely. She lived out loveliness in her warmth, joy, kindness, and embraces in a way that few on this earth ever do! Dora was indeed a virtuous woman who constantly showed true compassion and concern for others in a gentle way. Her passing has left such a tremendous vacuum in all of our lives! We love you and remain dedicated to honoring Dora’s memory in any way possible. Please know we are praying for you all! Kenny and Janice Sumner
