Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Aunt Bertsy will be missed. She shared her heart, her laughter and her home with all of us. We take comfort that she will be in pur heart until we are reunited. Heaven truly is rejoicing have this angel come home. Love and Prayers to the family. PD and Billy

  2. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture in the Bible at Isaiah 258. It says that Jehovah will wipe away all tears and death will be no more. We can all look forward to a time when we will never lose our loved ones again. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this difficult time.

  3. I am Bertsy Craft Davenport’s youngest surviving sibling of seven. From my earliest memories, Bertsy was a presence in my life. She was twelve years old when I was born. One of my earliest memories of her illustrates how I have aways thought of her. When I was 3 years old, she was fifteen. We slept in the same room in a double bed. I loved to watch her dress to go out. She had a pink dress in a jersey style fabric. The sleeves were long an fitted, the bodice fit closely, the skirt was full and swirly and it had a narrow belt of the same fabric as the dress. Her hair was blond, long past her shoulders and curly. I was entranced, and when she was finished, I thought she was a princess or Cinderella! My entire life she continued to be my role model and source of inspiration. We were so closely attuned as adults that we often, each unknown to the other, purchased the identical clothing, dresses, blouses, shoes, and purses. Psalm 305 (NIV) …weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Fly with the angels, Sister.

  4. Ray and Dinah, Marlene and I are sorry to hear about your mom. We will be thinking of you and yours during this time. Edwin

  5. To Pam, Ray, Abbie Gale, and the rest of the family We are so sorry for your loss. We dearly loved Aunt Bertsy. Love, Ranny & Ann

  6. I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Bertha Mae Bertsy Craft Davenport The bible tells us we can gain comfort from God, even during times of sorrow. We pray to our heavenly father for help to cope with the sorrow felt from the death of a loved one. By prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Philippians 46 May you find comfort by relying on our heavenly father and learning more about the blessings of God’s kingdom. Local ministry volunteer
