BAILEY – Jillian “Jill” Marie Memolo Cain, age 43, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026. Born in Middlesex County, NJ on February 4, 1983. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Casey.
Jill was known by many for being strongly independent. She loved spending time with and cooking for her family and friends, enjoyed visiting the beach whenever the opportunity would arise, loved to read and write, enjoyed horror movies, and was also an animal lover. Jill touched the lives of so many people and will always be remembered with love and kindness.
Jill is survived by her husband, Joshua Cain; her son, James Cain; her parents, Peter and Karen Memolo; her brother, Anthony Memolo; her sister, Kristi “Kris” Memolo; and her nephews.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Jill was my boss for a lot of the time I worked at RMT. She was a great woman and we bonded over our shared love for Halloween. I’m devastated by the news of her passing and send my condolences to family and friends. She will be missed.

I had the pleasure to work with Jill for 5 years. We have shared alot of laughs and memories. She is so incredibly special to all of our Rocky Mount Toyota team. We love you Jill and you will be missed more than you know. My sincere condolences to her family.
I met Jill 2 decades ago & we bonded almost immediately & became best friends.
I am thankful for her being in my life as long as she was—I only wish it could have been longer. I will continue to remember her in the small every day moments when I see something that reminds me of her. I will look back on all the inside jokes/silly times & smile to myself because we had a lot of those. I also will carry her in my heart to guide me through the hard moments too just as she did in life. Jill leaves behind a legacy & I will never forget what she meant to me. I will miss her so much.

I only had the pleasure of knowing Jill for a little over a year but that speaks even more about the impact she made on me. I literally had no time to learn a job I had barely done before, but that challenge didn’t faze Jill. With her teachings, guidance, and patience I got through it. I will always remember her for her kindness and her grace.
