ROCKY MOUNT – Salvador García, de 82 años, falleció el miércoles 8 de julio de 2026. Nació en Yuriria Guanajuato, México, el 5 de agosto de 1943, hijo de los difuntos Manuel García y Pomposa Calderón García. También le precedió en la muerte su hija Mariana Garcia.

Salvador fue un hombre excepcionalmente trabajador y dedicado, que siempre sintió un profundo orgullo por proveer y cuidar de su familia. Su incansable ética de trabajo, perseverancia y generosidad se reflejaban en todo lo que hacía, afrontando cada responsabilidad con integridad y determinación. Por encima de todo, amó profundamente a su familia, quienes siempre fueron el centro de su vida y su mayor motivación. Con su cariño, su alegría y los innumerables sacrificios que hizo por quienes amaba, creó recuerdos inolvidables que permanecerán por siempre en nuestros corazones. Aunque su ausencia deja un inmenso vacío, su legado de amor, fortaleza y dedicación vivirá para siempre en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y amarlo. Un esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano, tío y amigo devoto y cariñoso, Salvador será profundamente extrañado y jamás olvidado.

A Salvador le sobreviven su esposa, Robiroza Santoyo García; sus hijos, Guillermo Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, y Juan Garcia; hijas Rosario Garcia y Patricia Garcia; Nueras Graciela Garcia, Norma Garcia, y Eva; Yerno Javier Calderon; Nietos Fernando Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Francisco Jr Garcia, Jose Luis Garcia, Oscar Calderon, Jesus Calderon, Javier Jr Calderon y Andrés Calderon. Bisnietos Izayah Garcia, Liliana Rouse Garcia, Peighton Garcia, Aerianna Garcia, Aviéanna Garcia, Lilyana Calderon, y Leilani Calderon.

ROCKY MOUNT – Salvador Garcia, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Born in Yuriria Guanajuato, Mexico on August 5, 1943, he was the son of the late Manuel Garcia and Pomposa Calderon Garcia. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Mariana Garcia.

Salvador was an exceptionally hardworking and dedicated man who took immense pride in providing for his family. His unwavering work ethic, perseverance, and selflessness were evident in everything he did, and he approached every responsibility with integrity and determination. Above all, he cared deeply for his family, whose love and happiness were always his greatest priority. Through his kindness, laughter, and countless sacrifices, he created endless unforgettable memories that will be cherished forever. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of strength, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. A devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and good friend to many, Salvador will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Salvador is survived by his wife, Robiroza Santoyo Garcia; his sons, Guillermo Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, y Juan Garcia; daughters Rosario Garcia y Patricia Garcia; Daughter-in-laws Graciela Garcia, Norma Garcia, y Eva; Son-in-law Javier Calderon; Grandchildren Fernando Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Francisco Jr Garcia, Jose Luis Garcia, Oscar Calderón, Jesus Calderón, Javier Jr Calderón y Andrés Calderón.; and Great Grandchildren Izayah Garcia, Liliana Rouse Garcia, Peighton Garcia, Aerianna Garcia, Aviéanna Garcia, Lilyana Calderón, y Leilani Calderón.

A Special Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate Salvador’s life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
