SHARPSBURG – Joseph Franklin “Frank” Robbins, age 65, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026. He was born in Nash County, NC on February 15, 1961. Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Fannie Robbins and Joseph and Ethel McGahee; his uncles, Billy McGahee, George Robbins and Jimmy Robbins; and his cousin, Randy Robbins.
Frank was a vibrant and kind-hearted man whose personality shone through in everything he did. He attended N.E.W. Christian Academy, where he built friendships and created many cherished memories. Joseph had a deep love for fashion and took great pride in his appearance. From an early age, he enjoyed dressing well and expressing himself through his unique sense of style. He especially loved collecting watches and was rarely seen without one that perfectly complemented his outfit. Shopping was one of his favorite pastimes, whether browsing TJ Maxx, Marshalls, or searching for treasures at the local flea market. He could often be found at Fringe Salon, surrounded by David and friends, enjoying fellowship, laughter, and meaningful conversations. Beyond his love for fashion, Frank found joy and peace at the beach, where he enjoyed the beauty of the ocean and the simple pleasures of coastal life. His warm spirit and love for life will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Frank is survived by his partner of 24 years, David Bray; his father Marvin Lee Robbins; his mother, Annette McGahee Robbins; his cousins, Marnie Church, Shelly Simpson, Courtney McGahee, Patrick Robbins (Marsha), Steven Robbins (Heather), and Cindy Collins; and his canine companions, Eloise, Chip and Sadie.
