NASHVILLE – Betsy Wadsworth Weaver, age 87, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026. She was intentional in the way she cared for others, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. In her quiet moments, she found great joy in sewing, tending to her garden, and spending time reading, simple pleasures that reflected her gentle spirit, creativity, and appreciation for life’s everyday blessings.

I’m going to miss you soooooo much grandma… but i know you are where you’ve always wanted to be.. with the Lord!!
We miss you, and we always will
Since my own Mother passed Betsy has been like a mother to me. She was absolutely the best Mother-in-love i could have ever had. Virginia and I had the privilege of having her in our home for a little while, what a blessing!
We will miss you Miss Betsy and will see you in Heaven. Beth and Karen, you have our deepest condolences and prayers. We mourn with you, but only for a short time.
Betsy was my father’s first cousin. She was such a sweet and thoughtful person. We have the Wadsworth reunion the first Sunday in June. She came every year faithfully. I am sure going to miss seeing her. And also getting her messages and posts on facebook
What a precious Saint of God. I can remember her from the days of my youth. She was a light to many . Heaven is getting sweeter everyday. To her family I am sorry for your loss and praying for you all.
I will always be grateful that God brought this sweet, kind, caring, and gentle lady into my life. I will miss the many conversations we had on our way to the senior center and the laughs we shared. She would share stories that showed me how truly remarkable a person she was and how she lived her life. I will miss my dear friend. You will be in my heart and thoughts always. Til we meet again my dear Betsy (maw). I love you.
Betsy was the sweetest, kindest lady!! She helped take care of our mother, Doris Griffin, for years, and my family and I will always be grateful to her!! My thoughts and prayers are with the family!!
