ROCKY MOUNT – Brian Paul Lindquist, age 68, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.  Born in Hartland, ME on April 20, 1957, he was the son of the late Erik John Lindquist and Donna Mae Goforth Lindquist.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Erin Lindquist.

Brian was a lifelong baseball enthusiast, spending many years coaching the game he loved. A devoted Boston Red Sox fan, he rarely missed the chance to cheer on his team. Beyond the ballfield, he found joy in building model trains, a hobby that reflected his patience and creativity.  He was devoted to Nashville Methodist Church as well organizing their blood drives.   Above all, Brian cherished his family—his beloved wife, his children, and his grandchildren—who were the true pride and joy of his life.

Brian is survived by his wife of 22 years, Denise Mitchell Lindquist; his son, Sgt. 1st Class Erik Lindquist and wife, Carmen of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Lucas, Caleb, Zoey, Mya, Landon and Saige; his daughter, Elise Lindquist of Crozet, VA; his son, Evan Lindquist of Washington, DC., his sisters, Debra Lindquist Kaufman and Wendy Lindquist Williams and husband, Jay; his nieces, Rachael and Allison of Richmond, VA; his nephew, James of Fairfax, VA; his uncle and aunt, Dr. Vernon and Judy Lindquist; his mother in law, Pat Mitchell.

A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Nashville Methodist Church, 209 E. Washington Street, Nashville, NC  27856, with the Pastor Ralph Brown and Pastor Scott Dodson officiating.  A visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM after the service in the Gathering area of the Nashville Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Brian’s memory to Nashville Methodist Church 209 E. Washington Street, Nashville, NC  27856 or American Red Cross-Rocky Mount 301 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
