My friend forever! Mattie was our Hardee’s’ girl and loved by all. Always first at breakfast and lunch, quietly waiting for us to get there! God bless her family.
Miss Mattie always greeted me with a big smile and a hug. She will be missed.
When I think of my Aunt Mattie, the first words to pop into my head are generous, loving, compassionate. I am grateful to have known her and spent time with her. She is missed.
My prayers are for the family and loved ones who are now grieving the huge loss of no longer having her in their lives.
I loved working with Mattie at CT&T, and she had one of the sweetest spirits I’ve witnessed. She was meticulous in doing her job, and helpful to those around her, and she loved her family beyond measure. I’m thankful to call her my friend. My heart breaks that she’s no longer here for her family and friends. May God give her sons and extended family the peace, comfort and grace they need in these days ahead.
Miss Mattie was such a warm presence at Hardee’s on Wednesday morning! I looked forward to seeing her and sharing a big hug!
Chris and I are very sad to hear of Mrs. Bullock’s passing. I remember babysitting for the Bullock’s when I was in High School. We also remember our wonderful days at Edgemont Presbyterian. We loved W. B. and Mattie, they were always so nice to us.

Mattie was such a kind and precious soul. She always had a soft and warm way about her. One thing she told me the first or second time we met was as a Mother of three boys, she knew she wouldn’t always get them on the holidays but told never to focus on the day of the holiday and it was more important to her to have them all together. I have carried that with me and put it into place since she told me. Prayers to all of you!
Worked with her at CT&T
. She will definitely be missed
