  1. Simply a jewel! Honored to have known Barbara Sue! To know her was to love her. A servant’s heart!

  2. Ms Barbara Sue was a dedicated servant for Christ who never hesitated to witness to the young or the old while sharing her walk in faith with Jesus. A mentor to emulate that was a blessing for our family as we rejoice for her renewed life in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the family as they continue the journey with servant hearts for God and their community now in the spirit of a great matriarch who loved her children and her church. God bless

  3. I met Mrs Edwards around the early 2000’s through Relay for Life. She was a delight to be around and work with, a true Christian lady. I truly treasured the times we spent together and even remember a bus trip that we took to Washington, DC to the ‘Celebration on the Hill” for the American Cancer Society. What a time of fun and laughter was had by all but Mrs Barbara Sue and Mrs. Melba Smith were the life of the celebration. I haven’t seen her in quite some time but just to know that she is with her Lord and Savior I can just imagine the time of joy and celebration that she is having. Prayers for her family but what special memories you have.

  4. Debbie,

    We Love you!

  5. Mrs Edwards was a wonderful teacher. I enjoyed being in her class and the lessons of life she taught me not just book knowledge but things she had experience as a young lady that she felt I could benefit from. Today I am 58 and I am proud to have been one of her students. She was indeed a sweet lady. My sincere condolences to her family. Ann Michelle Hart formally Ann Michelle Winston

  6. Mrs. Edward’s was my 3rd grade teacher. She was such a sweet lady, one of my all time favorites!

  7. Miss Sue was a True Southern Lady. I always looked forward to talking to her at Injoy or catching her at her mailbox and stopping to speak. I got to have one last mailbox conversation about 4-5 months ago and told her that we missed seeing her and how much everyone Loved her. For that, I am Grateful.
