  3. Q: What will you never forget about Jessie?

A: When I was a new Christian I called Jessie Dean all the time . She made me a list of her favorite Bible verses she wanted me to memorize. I still have it in one of my Bibles . She truly loved Jesus and was a great mentor. I love her and can’t wait to see her in heaven .

  4. Charles, Melanie and Jeffrey,

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Mama but I also rejoice with you in her home going. I know she has reunited with so many loved ones, but most importantly she has seen JESUS! She served Him well here on earth and now that her time here is done she gets to spend eternity with her Father, Jesus Christ. I know, as He welcomed her home, He said to her, “well done my good and faithful servant!” Although Jessie Dean didn’t recognize me in her later years, I know, without a doubt, she loved me, and I loved her. I have LOTS of great memories of our times together, and I will always cherish them. She was a great mentor to me and someone I could talk to about anything. I know I will see her again one day. What a great legacy she left behind. To God be the Glory! Prayers to all of you during your time of grief.
