I love Omar Lamm. He’s such a gentle soul. We lived across the street for about 10 years when we were children. He never got into trouble and I stayed in trouble. I remember him going to the Harris Conservatory of Music to take guitar lessons. Such a success. Whenever I would see him at the building supply, he would tell me he loved me. He knew how to warm a person’s soul. I will miss him.
God bless the family and prayers for all of them
You can’t look back at our lives and not think of Brian and The Essex Band. It is a great memory!
The music has ended here but the melody will always linger on in your hearts.
May the Lord bless and comfort you and your families during this time of loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.
We love you
Sorry for your loss
I have very fond memories of Brian years ago when I worked for Dr. John Derbyshire. Brian was such a sweetheart. Always pleasant and just a joy to be around. My sincere condolences for his children, grandchildren and Sandra. May he rest in peace and rejoice being reunited with Mandy.
Omar Lamm was such a good friend and inspiration to me. He got me started on a lifetime of musical performance and enjoyment. I will always cherish our time together as members of my first band, The Essex. We stood on stage together in a variety of venues along with Norman Chambliss, Steve Morgan, Jim Bailey, Emmett Gladstone, and Billy Jones, and had so much fun, not realizing at the time, we were making friendships and memories that would last the rest of our lives.
I left RM after high school, following my love of the ocean. Omar and I didn’t keep in touch enough, but when we got back together on occasion, we were like two kids who’d never parted. As I watched the photo testimonial, I realized how much of his life I missed. To this day I still play gigs and think about Omar, the great singer, guitar player, and overall inspirational person he was. I will always love him and the times we shared. I will never forget him!
I am going to miss you dad. We shared lots of laughs while you lived with us. You were always so appreciative of everything I did for you. A smile and a thank you. You were very complimentary no matter what I cooked. You loved it and always thanked me for cooking, doing your laundry, making your bed or even just bringing you a diet sundrop.
Until we meet again ❤️
