  7. Q: How did you meet Mandy?

A: I started attending Rock Creek Church thru my client and got to meet Mandy there, her beautiful talent of singing and playing the flute before services will always echo in my mind as we continue to try and understand why God plucks the prettiest flowers first! Her Spirit will always be in building at Rock Creek, and we all know she’s leading the angels in heaven with praise and song! Rest high on that mountain and god bless her entire family

  9. Mandy was a good friend at work who was always encouraging. She made me laugh many afternoons and was there to celebrate with me when things were going well. I loved listening about how much she loved her husband, kids, and students. She is someone who I held in high regards and looked up to! She will be missed.

  10. Words escape me since I received the call of Mandy’s passing. As a teacher, you hope to leave a bit of yourself with each student that crosses your classroom. Not only did Mandy cross my classroom, but she continued to cross my life. As a fellow educator, I know that all who she taught, will continue to pass on her legacy and love of music, dance and the church. Mandy, keep those angels hopping and know you will be missed by so many! Hugs and healing to family and friends. I know this one will be a tough one. “Move that Mountain”

  11. Just a few weeks ago, I read a FB post of Mandy’s. She and her Daddy had just spent time together talking about their love of music. That sparked a memory I had. I was Mandy’s Girl Scout leader from the time the was a Brownie all the way through high school when she earned her Gold Award. I remembered the occasion when she and her Daddy played the processional for our end of year event. They played Pachelbel’s Canon – Mandy on her flute and her daddy on his guitar. It was absolutely beautiful, and I have never forgotten how special that was. Make beautiful music in heaven, sweet Mandy, and play Pachelbel’s Canon for me.
