Uncle Velma was very special to our family. We appreciated his loving kindness, friendship, reverence for the Lord, and the humility he displayed.
I am deeply saddened by Mr. Parker’s passing. I only had a few short years to get to know him but he was a special gentleman. I had a few conversations with him where I always came away having learned something new. Thank you Sir, for your service to our country. I’ll also thank you for your contributions to our community. I pray for God’s comfort for all who loved Mr. Fess.
We are so sorry for your loss. Sending our deepest condolences and praying for peace and comfort for your family during this difficult time.
Thoughts and prayers for the family.
Gail and I will never forget what a kind, quiet, caring and Godly man Fess was. He didn’t often speak during bible study, but when he did, we all listened carefully, because we knew his words were carefully thought out and imparted wisdom gained from years of walking with our Lord and Savior. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.
I remember Uncle Velma’s friendly energy and his laugh. I never saw him in a bad mood although I’m sure he had troubles like everyone. I always smile when I think of how much fun we had at his river cottage. He taught me and my sister how to water ski and was patient. I appreciate all his help whenever I would visit my Granny or Whitakers. Until we meet in Heaven
