Gregory "Greg" Brian Willis

GOLDSBORO – Gregory “Greg” Brian Willis, age 61, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Born in Nash County, NC on September 11, 1962, he was the son of the late Joseph Otis Willis and Helen Grace Townsend. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Timothy Willis and Terry Willis. Greg loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed cookouts and grilling. Greg also spent his time camping and going fishing. A big part of the outdoors for him was riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Southern Sin and Dragon Slayers Motorcycle Club. Greg will be truly missed by all who knew him. Greg is survived by his son, Justin Willis of Rocky Mount; his sister, Sherri Ann Willis of Red Oak; his sister-in-law, Maureen Willis Peacock of Nashville; his niece, Erica Willis; and his nephews, Jordan Willis, Jackson Willis, Johnny Boe, and Daniel Willis. A Special Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Greg’s memory to Joseph Timothy Willis Scholarship of Faith, Family, and Future, 2221 W. Raleigh Blvd., Rocky Mount, NC 27803 or www.peacemakers.org.
