Thomas "Tom" Dean Wright

ROCKY MOUNT – Thomas “Tom” Dean Wright, age 94, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Born in Nash County, NC on September 12, 1929, he was the son of the late Edward Lafayette Wright and Lena Burgess Wright. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Edward Martin Wright; and his sisters, Mary Dollyhigh, Louise Coker, Lena Mae Wright, Irene Wright, and Emily Medlin. Tom is survived by his wife, Anne Carolyn Hardy Wright; his daughters, Denise Harrelson and husband, Donald, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Georgia Phillips and husband, Scott, of Rocky Mount, Angela Bartholomew of Rocky Mount, and Elizabeth Finez and husband, Jonathan, of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Bradley Harrelson, Nicholas Phillips, Chandler Phillips, Chadwick Bartholomew, Casey Bartholomew, Sydney Finez, and Avery Finez; his ten great-grandchildren; his sister, Nadine Knox of Tarboro; and many nieces and nephews.
