SELMA – Stacey Nicole Dupree, age 39, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Born in Wilson County, NC on March 21, 1984, she was the daughter of the late Debra Lynn “Debbie” Braswell Dupree. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph Edward Braswell and Jeannette "Jenny" Braswell and paternal grandparents, Charles Franklin “Frank” Dupree, Jr. and Julia Williams Dupree.
Blessed with a generous personality, Stacey enjoyed working around children, assisting various church nurseries during Sunday services. She had a love for animals, especially cats, and loved listening to various 90’s pop and country music. A beautiful and loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and dear friend to many, Stacey will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Stacey is survived by her father, Phillip Stephen Dupree (Carolyn); brother, Charles S. Dupree (Samantha); her partner, Billy Christian; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
A Special Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the home of Phillip and Carolyn Dupree.
