Fannie Pridgen Zuidema

ROCKY MOUNT - Fannie Pridgen Zuidema, age 86, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on October 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John Hardy Pridgen and Ada Forysth Pridgen. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George Pridgen; and her nephews, Durwood Conway and Marvin Conway. Fannie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Zuidema; her brother, Earl Pridgen (Teenie); her sisters, Peggy Conway and Edith Reaves (Bobby); her nephews, Dwayne Pridgen (Beth) and Johnnie Pridgen (Janet); her niece, Hope Jones (Robert); several great-nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Battleboro Cemetery with Rev. Chris Fowler officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside. The family would like to thank Fannie's caregivers: Wendy Mayo and Sharon Breland and Community Home Care & Hospice.
