Judith “Judy” Preast Wallace

ROCKY MOUNT - Judith "Judy" Preast Wallace, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on September 16, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Connie Preast and Lurlene Hyman Preast. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Watson Wallace, Jr.; and sister, Linda Preast Bunn. A devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, Judy will be dearly missed and will never be forgotten. Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Dana Severini and husband, Billie, of Rocky Mount, and Gina Fryar Tosto and husband, Ashley, of Rocky Mount; and sons, Brent Wallace and wife, Sarah, of Rocky Mount, and Ashley Wallace and wife, Melissa, of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by grandchildren, Logan, Chandler, and Morgan Severini, Lexie Rounds, Brayden Tosto, and Janie, Blake and Ava Wallace; niece, Ashley Tyler; and nephew, Lane Tyler. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.   5. Dana and Gina, we met your mom many years ago when we were involved in the Jaycees and Jaycee Women. Judy was the sweetest person and always had a smile on her face. I hope that the memories of your mom will carry you through this difficult time.
