John Edward Chicoine

ROCKY MOUNT - John Edward Chicoine, age 85, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Born in Worcester, MA on June 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Henry Chicoine, Sr. and Irene Thibeault Chicoine. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lyn Chicoine; granddaughter, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Chicoine; and brothers, Sonny, Bill and Tom Chicoine. John is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jacquelyn Dam Chicoine of Rocky Mount; sons, John and his wife, Jan of Clyde, NC, Jim and his wife, Joyce of Rensselaer, NY: daughters; Joan Beaudoin and her husband, Kevin of Clifton Park, NY, Joyce Chicoine of Niskayuna, NY, and Jill Doyle and her husband, Mike of Poestenkill, NY; grandchildren, John, III, Erin, Sara, Joseph, Jason, Kati, Paul, Alex and Josh; and great-grandchildren, Levi, Ayda, Jackie, Sophia, Alyssa, Emilia and Jacob. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 331 Hammond Street, Rocky Mount with the Father Tim Meares officiating.
