Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Betsy, While I have never met you I feel like I have known you for years as Dennis often spoke of you during our long time relationship in the banking industry. Dennis was a great guy and all of us at Franklin Street Trust Co. share your grief and , like you, will really miss him. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Rex Teaney Chairman, Franklin Street Trust Co. Chapel Hill, N.C.
Dennis taught me Employee Benefits during my senior year (1981) at Campbell. It was a life changing experience because I followed in his footsteps as that’s my chosen career. It was a great pleasure and honor that our paths crossed. You are in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.
It is rare that anybody would look forward to an examination, but with Dennis we always welcomed the Banking Commission examiners to our office. Dennis was helpful, friendly and genuinely enjoy coming to see us and working with our people. We will truly miss seeing him each year.
Betsy, we just wanted you to know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of all of us during this very difficult time. We always considered Dennis as part of our class too. If there is anything any of us from the SCHS Class of 1960 can do, please let us know. We love you Betsy.
Dearest Betsy, Karen, Claire and family, We are very saddened to hear of Mr. B’s passing. My family, especially Vaun, loved him greatly. We are thinking of you and praying for strength and understanding at this time. We know he had been struggling for awhile now, he is now at rest. God is always with us. Sending love, Bill, Peggy, Vaun and Jennifer Hayes
Dear Bellefeuille Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Times like this can be very difficult to deal with. At times, you may feel like there is no one to turn to. You may even feel like no one understands your pain. But there is one person we can turn to that can help us through all of our trials. Yes, God can help you during this difficult time. Pray to him constantly and he will help you. (2 Corinthians 13,4 Isa. 2619)
Please except my condolence in the loss of your love one. Phil 46, 7 will help you receive the peace of God. John 528, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. These are wonderful blessings to look forward to knowing your loved one is in God’s memory. Hope this thought brings comfort.
I am so sorry to read this and I have to give my condolences to the family. My father, John Hammond, worked with Dennis in the Trust Department at Peoples Bank and Centura for several years and I know he was very well thought of both personally and professionally. In fact he was one of a handful of ex-People’s folks that my father kept in touch with, although perhaps not regularly, particularly as my father’s health declined. Dennis came to my father’s funeral last year so I was able to talk to him for a while and had many kind words about my father which I really appreciated. May he rest in peace.
To a good friend I’ll always remember.
Betsy, Claire and Karen, and family you are in our thoughts and prayers. Having worked with Dennis as his administrative assistant for over 20 years at Peoples and Centura Banks, not only was he a great mentor but a true friend. Dennis loved life, his family, friends and co-workers. We shared a lot of memories that I will hold dear in my heart. May God give you strength today and days to come and know he is with our King. With love to all, Sandra.
Dennis was not just a State Examiner for our bank but a friend. I could always talk to Dennis and know he would guide us in the best way. I talked to Dennis about a month ago and he was bragging about his family. I loved hearing stories about Betsy and his beloved girls. Please know Dennis will always be loved and never forgotten!!
