ROCKY MOUNT - Evelyn Jean "Jeannie" Moore Perry, age 86, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on November 18, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Riley Moore and Rosa Lee Edwards Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Carroll "Bill" Perry; and her brother, Riley "Randy" Moore.
Jeannie retired after over ten years as the Town Clerk of the City of Sharpsburg. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Most of all, she was a most wonderful friend, and her heart and spirit will forever be remembered.
Jeannie is survived by her son, Terry Cuddington and wife, Cathy; her daughters, Billie Kalmowitz and husband, Arthur, Pamela "Pam" Barrrow and husband, Danny, and Cathy Davis and husband, Robbie; her grandchildren, David, Leah, Danny, Jr. "Lil Danny", Kristi, Jason, Matthew, and Chase; her nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Barbara Moore Mills; her nephew, Richard "Ricky" Hudson; and several other nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Dr. Michael Cloer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nash UNC Health Care Systems Hospice & Palliative Care, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or to Spring Arbor of Rocky Mount, 1251 S Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
