Grandma Evans you were like my on grandmother and you always treated me like your granddaughter. I will always miss you. I know you are in heaven being welcomed by all of our families who have gone before you. I will always cherish the memories we all share! Please watch over all of us as I know you will!! Love you always until we meet again!!
I am so sorry to learn that Doshia has passed. I have wonderful memories of her through the years. She loved to come visit my Mama Sadie and my Uncle Marvin Cotton. On occasion I would come home, I was in the Air Force, and wounded get to see her at Mama’s. I also remember going to visit Uncle Sumlar with my grandma and grandpa Cotton. My mama loved her and enjoyed her visits so much. My God bless your family and keep you all safe. Ray Price
I AM TRULY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS . SHE IS IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE AND NOT HURTING ANYMORE . MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ms. Doshia. I met her at Rocky Mount Rehab where she and my Aunt Pat were roommates. I so enjoyed my visits with them prior to Covid-19. I rejoice that they are both in heaven with their loved ones and have healed bodies and minds. My prayers will continue for her loved ones.
Where do I start You taught me so much! You taught me first to trust in the Lord with all my heart. I trust him that his time and plan is for our good. I know you are happy you are reunited with Pa Evans, my Mama, your daughter, Joyce, my son, your great grandson, Michael Hackney. Please kiss them and hug them for me the way you did me. I will cherish our church, family reunions, and especially beach trips when we all were younger. I love you Grandma Evans. 3 always your ‘Kim Vonne’
Our hearts go out to Ms. Doshia’s family. She was always a delight when we visited our Aunt Pat at the nursing home. Now they are together in Heaven.
