Guestbook

  1. Mrs. Nancy was one of my favorite people. She was my kindergarten teacher, my neighbor, my fellow church member at Bethlehem Baptist and my friend. I loved her so much. I always enjoyed running into her around town, at church and would always see her and Papa O at Bojangles in Knightdale. Although we lost touch and I didn’t see her much after Otis passed away and she moved to Rocky Mt, I tried to keep in touch by sending cards from time to time. I will miss her smile and love for life. To know her was to love her. ♥️ Sending hugs, love and prayers to the family

  2. I can say with out a doubt that Mrs Glover was one of a kind and a super special lady! She lived her life with the Joy of the Lord overflowing and if you knew her you knew that! From the 5th grade forward I was blessed to have many opportunities to hang out at Davids house and Mrs Glover always loved on us like we were her own. She took great care of us, fed us, laughed with us, laughed at us, gave us plenty of room to be crazy and corrected us when we needed it but she always did it with a heart of Love. Later in life when she met my wife she immediately made her feel welcomed and always treated her with love and a big hug which was a blessing to me. I’ll miss her smile, her joy and her hugs but I’m certainly blessed to have had the chance to know her for the past 40+ years and to have the memories of what a special lady she was to me and so many more. David, we’ll be praying for you, Terry and all of your family that you’ll find peace in God’s promises and know that she is in his presence now, pain free and happier than ever!

  3. David and family, We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Our prayers are with you and we wish we could give you a big hug! May your memories warm your heart and provide comfort. Love y’all!!

  5. I worked with Nancy several years at Knightdale Elementary. I loved going to her pool house for dinner parties with the girls. I know how much she loved David, Terry and the 2 granddaughters. Condolences to all.

  6. Thoughts and prayers to David and the entire family. I have known Nancy since the days of David playing baseball at East Wake. She and Bill graciously hosted the team and coaches at the end of each season for a party at her home and pool. She was also my one of my son’s teachers in 4th grade. he absolutely adored her. Before moving to Rocky Mount she was a regular attendee at our retired teachers gatherings. The last time I saw her was a little over a year ago at Glover Park in Nashville. She loved to watch the little ids participating in sports and my grandchildren were playing that day. So glad i got to visit with her.

  7. I’m so sorry to hear of Nancy’s death. I was a friend of Nancy’s in Selma back in our high school years and have always enjoyed keeping up and laughing at her stories. She was a fun person to know. Sorry for your loss.
