Bonnie Fountain Tippett

Bonnie Fountain Tippett, 88, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 at Guardian Care. She was born September 12, 1922 in Edgecombe County, daughter of the late Lester Fountain and Susie Bradley Fountain. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Tippett; son, Paul Harrell; and brother, Garland Fountain. Bonnie was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Englewood Supermarket after many years of service. Bonnie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jean Harrell; grandson, Michael Harrell and wife Angie; granddaughter, Paula Taylor and husband Tim, all of Rocky Mount; five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and brother, James W. Fountain and wife Donna Faye of Wilson. A funeral service to remember Bonnie will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Braziel officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
