He is survived by two sons, William Ronald (married to Isis Mojicar-Hunt )and Raymond Michael (married to Kathleen Hunt) both of Miami, Florida, four grandchildren: Ronald William Hunt (married to Michelle Hunt), Christopher Daniel Hunt (married to Natalia Hunt), Raymond Michael Hunt, Jr. and Kevin Hunt and seven great-grandchildren: Branden Tyler Hunt, Ethan Jacob Hunt, Kyle Nathan Hunt, Leila Skye Hunt, Mia Sarah Hunt, Alexis Jordan Rodriguez and Samantha Aimee Rodriguez all from South Florida. Step daughters Patrice Alana Courts (married to Frank John Courts) and Paula Annette Williams all of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Step grandchildren Geoffrey Stewart Robinson (passed February 19, 2005), Brittany Ros Ann Robinson of Floyd, Virginia, Chloe Nicolette Williams and Lauren Ashley Williams both of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Jennifer Elaine Courts of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Daniel Hogarth Courts (married to Racquel Courts) Frank Patrick Courts (married to Haley Courts) all of Gainesville, Florida. Bill was born on January 17, 1922 in River Falls, South Carolina and moved to Greenville, S.C. at a young age. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1942 and was stationed in South Florida before his final posting upon the island of Guam. After the war he returned to South Florida where he worked as a glazier from then until 1984 when he retired. He married Lois Etta Futch in 1946. She passed away in 1991. Patricia Ann Addison and Bill were married in March of 1992 and lived in South Florida until 2007 when they relocated to Rocky Mount, N.C. He attended and served as a Deacon at Central Assembly of God and Central Bible Church from 1952 until 2007 when he moved to North Carolina where he attended Ridgecrest Church of God. Through his devotion to God, he was able to touch the lives of many strangers and loved ones alike, many times, by simply telling a joke, riddle, story about Jesus, or passing out tracts. He was a long time baseball fan and spent countless hours pitching batting practice to his sons and grandsons, where he routinely struck them out with his "wicked" curve ball. His nickname, Case, was given to him due to his similarity in coaching style and discipline exhibited by the great Casey Stengel. Among his biggest peeves were pitchers failing to throw curveballs in crucial situations, and football coaches running up the middle on the goal line, when they could have gone around the end. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, December 13, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. A service to remember Bill will be held at 11:00am Saturday morning in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Whitley officiating.
