W.A. and I have big holes in our hearts. Dal and his family have been part of ours for many years. Whether working or vacationing at Atlantic Beach, Dal was the best partner. We shall miss him. Henrietta and WA Barbour
I had the pleasure of workng with Dal many years ago at Hardee’s Food Systems and have seen him in recent years at festivities at the Shrine Club. All these years later, Dal was still the same gentleman he was 40’years ago and always with a smile. My sincere condolences to the family. Teresa Bullard

I have known Dal since we were young boys and we have laughed and had fun together for 58 years! I will miss Dal but I will see him again in the heavens beyond the clouds! Dal, thanks for all the good and bad times we shared! J. Henry lancaster
Dal always held a special place in our hearts. His love of dogs, dry humor, and dedication to the church spoke volumes about his character. May precious memories and deep faith sustain you now and in the days ahead. PS – perhaps Dal and Ike are now sharing tales of FCC and Hardee’s… Holding you in our hearts. Dal was truly a gentleman and one of my favorite Hardee’s coworkers, even though we were not in the same department, we shared many laughs during our quick breaks. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sharon and family – I am so sorry to hear of Dal’s passing. I was a programmer and worked with Dal at Hardee’s for 19 years. One of the things I remember about Dal was that he and I would sometimes take our lunch hour (and usually a little more) to shoot a few games of pool. He was a good friend and will be missed.
I was saddened when searching for Dal, to find this post. We worked together in the mid 70s at Hardee’s Food Systems. Reading the many condolences tells me Dal didn’t change either the years. He was and is a kind and gentle spirit that I will never forget and always appreciate.
