NASHVILLE - Joseph Todd Cooley, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Born in Nash County, NC on August 26, 1959, he was the son of Joseph Delano Cooley and Lillie Susan Medlin Cooley. Todd, as everyone knew him by, was a dedicated worker and always enjoyed spending time with his family. Following his father's footsteps, his was a "jack of all trades" and could build almost anything. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was a loving son, a loyal brother, caring uncle, and a friend to all. Todd leaves behind to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, Lillie Medlin Cooley of Nashville; his sister Susan Cooley Drewery of Spring Hope; niece Ashley Drewery; nephew Blake Drewery; as well as many cousins. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
