ROCKY MOUNT - Linwood Earl Harrell, age 71, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018. Born in Pitt County, NC on December 18, 1946, he was the son of the late Kelly Harrell and Nettie May Williams Harrell. He was also preceded in death by his niece, Leasa Renee Smith.
Linwood leaves behind to cherish his memory, brother, Roger D. Harrell and wife, Mary, of Wilson; sister, Mavis Harrell Bailey of Rocky Mount; niece, Janet Harper Pridgen and husband, Johnie, of Nashville; and great-niece, Megan Smith; and great-nephew, Dakota Smith; two children; and eight grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Wray Wheeless officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
