Every detail was handled with grace and dignity, and their team ensured our loved one was honored in the most respectful way possible. Our pastor, who has officiated many services over the years, shared that this was the most kind, professional, and organized service he had ever been a part of—and we couldn't agree more. From the quiet support behind the scenes to the seamless coordination of every aspect of the ceremony, their attention to detail was unmatched. We are deeply grateful to the entire staff at Wheeler and Woodlief. They made a painful experience easier with their warmth, guidance, and dedication. First I would like to give a huge thanks to Dexter he was so down to earth and such a great person at heart, I could genuinely feel he cared, and sympathized with my situation. Second I would like to thank everyone for making sure my brothers funeral went as planned. I was out of my element, dazed and confused. Wheeler & Woodlief handled everything seamlessly so I could grieve and be with my family, they did the best job one could ask for at such a horrible time. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my brother 🙏🏾

True Caring Professionals! We did not do a traditional funeral format. Kemp David and team flowed with our desires easily and made everything work. They were easy to work with and very helpful all the way. I highly recommend.

To start out, nobody wants to have to plan a funeral or go through the grief and stress of a loved one passing away. BUT, I am SO glad my family chose Wheeler & Woodlief when my dad, Dennis Hedgepeth passed away. We had the most peaceful and honorable funeral for my Dad. All of the staff went WAY out of the way to give my dad the type of funeral that anyone would want. The David family and their staff is exactly what my family needed with the passing of my dad. Losing my father shattered my heart and the thought of planning his funeral was stressful and filled me with anxiety. I am so thankful for Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home! Dexter was amazing and made this daunting task so easy as he walked us through each step. He was very compassionate and caring through the entire process. We could not have asked for better treatment during this time. The entire staff were amazing from beginning to the end. My fathers service was beautiful! We [unfortunately] had the BEST service possible from Dexter and his team at Wheeler & Woodlief. With the unexpected loss of a family member they were nothing short of amazing. They handled our family with grace and our loved one with dignity. We anticipated a large crowd at the service and they were well prepared, had enough people in place, and it ran smoothly. I was referred to Wheeler & Woodlief by my former neighbor when my husband died unexpectedly in March 2018. I had no idea of who to use because I am not originally from this area. My neighbor had used them for her husband and referred us to them.
From the moment I called I was absolutely pleased. Losing my husband the way I did was very upsetting. I felt like I was in a fog.
The complete staff of Wheeler & Woodlief were very compassionate and extremely sensitive to our needs and wants for my husband.
I would recommend them to anyone that is in need of a funeral service that definitely puts customer service as their # 1 priority, and operates on compassion and sensitivity.
