We rented a bedroom from Wini when we first moved to Rocky Mount in 1990. She took us in like family while we were waiting on our house to close. We only stayed a couple months, but our relationship continued to grow. She was like a grandma to our children and we loved visiting her. Wini loved the Lord and I know is happy to be in heaven with Him. We will one day see her again and in that we can have comfort. Our prayers are with you all. Jim & Melissa Hartsell
I met Ms Wini at Hardees several years ago. She would come and eat breakfast with the Breakfast Club at Hardees. She was a great lady always full of the fun. I loved her and always missed her when she wasn’t there. God has a new angel this morning. I share in your loss for a grand lady. RIP Wini.
Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 258. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.
I am saddened by the passing of Winni. She was a great lady. She welcomed me with open arms when I meet her years ago. She and her family accepted me as one of them. When Bill and I would go to visit her in Wilson with the dogs it made her very happy. She just loved those dogs. Winni will be greatly missed. RIP wonderful lady. love you lots. Connie.
