William “Wild Bill” Emory Lowe Jr.

ELM CITY - William "Wild Bill" Emory Lowe, Jr., age 67, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017. Born in Scotland Neck, NC on May 17, 1950, he was the son of the late William Emory Lowe, Sr. and Alice Ruth Taylor Lowe. Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of 34 years, Janice Hawks Lowe; sons, William "Robert" Lowe, and Chris Lowe and wife, Melissa; and daughter, Amanda Kristine Griffin and husband James. He is also survived by grandchildren, Haley Lowe, Sophie Lowe, Bryant Rodgers, Autumn Griffin, Adalyn Griffin, and Lila Griffin; brothers, Burt Lowe and wife, Debbie, and Randy Lowe and wife, Paula; numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Englewood Assembly of God, 2181 S. Halifax Road, Rocky Mount, with the Rev. Gerry Blood officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Englewood Assembly of God Building Fund, 2181 S. Halifax Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
