  11. I am so saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. I had the pleasure of teaming up with Bill to conduct American’s with Disabilities Act workshops to employers across the state in the 1990s. Just a few months ago we met to discuss another project. He was truly a great role model for individuals with disabilities. I will truly miss him.

  12. Bill was a warm, gentle soul whose perseverance in the face of his physical challenges was an inspiration to everyone who met him. We were privileged to work with him on a project that was dear to his heart, and hearing his voice on the phone always made our day a little brighter. He is now free from the prison of his body, but he will be sorely missed by all those he has left behind.

  13. Bill touched my life at NC Wesleyan. He was a force buzzing around in his wheelchair. He needed me to help with addressing and sending out letters to solicit help in getting an elevator om the main building on campus. I’m glad I had that brief encounter. My condolences to his lovely famly.
