We were so saddened to learn today of the passing of Mrs. Viverette. We were fortunate to have her as our next door neighbor for a number of years. She was a wonderful neighbor, often helping us take care of a sweet cat that we all adopted, sharing vegetables with us, and calling to check on us after storms. Any conversations with her were always uplifting. She will surely be missed, but we know she is happy to now be with her Willard and Marilyn, of whom she often spoke. Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family. Jean & Haywood Evans

Phil words can never say how broken hearted I am that Aunt Vera is gone. I am so sorry for your lose of her. I know she is not looking back wishing to be here. Our last talk she spoke of Heaven sounding sweeter everyday and she felt her home going was very soon and not to be surprised to hear of her passing. We must now rejoice in her new life and be thankful she did not have a long suffering death. Her family of Saints were waiting for her and I know she had a grand reunion she spoke to me about longing to see. Don’t you know when she saw Her daughter Marilyn and husband Willard there was some hugs going on. She also spoke of Papa and Mama and how happy that would be to see them again. But most of all she wanted to see Jesus. She said she hoped to join us all there one day. Every time I hear the song Because He Lives , I will think of her sitting at her organ one day and playing and sang it to me with tears of joy rolling from her eyes. Oh what a testimony she gave me that day as she lifted her hands toward Heaven and praised the Lord for all his goodness and what he did for her after the death of her husband and daughter. She also gave thanks for your faithfulness to the Church and her. I know beyond this life she is living on in the arms of our maker. I love you Phil and I have always loved your family. The Lord will give you strength and wisdom to get through this transition of your life.

May you find comfort in knowing that we care. Now you have the good memories of this sweet and lovely lady. Prayers and thoughts are with you. Love, Rudolph and Mary Frances Morris
Vera was always a beautiful lady in every sense. She loved her family. They were a great source of joy for her. As she shared their activities with those around, we felt the joy of her love and it made a. better day for us. She loved her Lord and expressed it in serving others. I remember well the support she gave me when my mother died.I can see her now sweeping my floors knowing I would soon have visitors. She lived life well. I m saddened for all who loved her., but I know she is enjoying the presence of the Lord in full measure. Judy Dixon
Special thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with the family during this time of sorrow. We wish you peace and healing. May GOD wrap you in his loving arms and give you the strength you need during this difficult time. With our deepest sympathy, Pam and Les Small neighbors of Mrs. Viverette
I will never forget the first time I met Vera. Some 25 years ago I was adopted into her brother Elmer’s family. We were at Tim and Jamie’s for some special occasion and I was in the den and very uncharacteristically of me I looked across the room at Vera and said, I know you’re part of the family, but I don’t know you. She sat straight up in her chair and with all of that Morris authority she said, I am Vera Morris Viverette. Who might YOU be From that day on, I count it such a privilege to have known Vera. I regret that my family will be out of town and unable to attend the service for Vera, but I can truly say that earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. My thoughts and prayers to all of the family as you grieve for the loss of such a wonderful woman. Jack Edmondson
