Pinetops - Thomas "Dinky" Webb, age 54, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on March 28, 1961, he was the son of Zelphia Neal Powell and the late Roland "Tony" Webb, Sr.
Dinky leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Rachel Aycock Webb of Pinetops; his daughter Leanna Brooke Webb and her son, Dalton; his sons, Hilton Wayne Webb of Pinetops; and Thomas Neal Webb, Jr. of Macclesfield; and his mother, Zelphia Neal Powell and husband, Pete of Cokley. He is also survived by his brothers, Roland "Shorty" Webb and family of Zebulon; and Robert Dale Webb of Kitty Hawk.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be at 12:30 PM prior to the service.

I have sooooo many memories of DINKY DOOO…that if I share them I will be outta data. The most treaured one is…… After my 2nd Gboy Philip Brewer, Jr was accidentally shot in a hunting accident on 12010 he chose to have a CHICKEN PLATE SALE BENEFIT to Help my daughter Lindy & Philip Brewer with the encured bills. I will forever hold his forever friendship in my heart. Now that he is resting FOREVER PAIN FREE=RFPF…. Hilton and the family needs to be in OUR FORETHOUGHTS.
Will miss him scaring me when I walked in the bar!! He could always make you laugh. He will be surely never forgotten!!
Tears of sorrow for the loss of a special man to whom I had the privilege of calling a friend and a friend to so many. He will missed as I read somewhere he’s one of a kind. I believe that to be true. God now has a one of a kind special angel. Praying for you all in sad time. Love to you his family..

I only met Dinky a few times, but I know he was very well loved and cared for by his family!!!! Praying for each one of you!!!
Will forever remember Dinky and I exchanging Tom-asss; while sharing adult beverages from cold glasses! To say he was one of a kind is an under statement; and for his friends there wasn’t an end he wouldn’t have went!! You always knew how he felt and were he stood; and the word to describe my friend is GOOD!!!
Wow, where to begin Anyone who knew you, knew that you were a one of a kind. I am so THANKFUL to have met you all those years ago. I asked God to to take away your pain and free you from this horrible disease my friend! My prayers were hoping you would still be with us, but HE does things HIS way, and my prayers, along with everyone else’s was answered, just not the way we hoped. HE did take away your pain and that horrible disease of Cancer. HE decided it was HIS time to have you now with HIM and although we’re brokenhearted and gonna miss you like crazy, you are in a better, beautiful place now, FREE from pain and sickness, and I’m at peace with that! Tears will be shed, but lots of laughter as we remember our moments shared with you! Love and miss you Dunky (not a typo, inside joke) lol RDF my dear friend! You will definitely not be forgotten!!! Til we meet again!
