  1. A beautiful person who had a beautiful smile for everyone ! She will be missed. My heart goes out to her family. Pastor Pat Patton

  2. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Tammy was always a shining example of God’s love ever since I met her in 6th grade. She was one of the sweetest, kindest, strongest ladies I’ve known. I know her and Donna are rejoicing together now. Much love- Jessica Rouse

  3. Ms. Curtis was one of my favorite teachers at the Early College, and was the only reason I ever managed to understand math in the first place. She was so patient and hardworking when it came to her students, and would never get frustrated or give up whenever one of us didn’t understand something. She had a fantastic sense of humor that always brightened up the day, and despite her not feeling well sometimes she would always still manage to have a smile on her face. Her passing has shocked me to the core, but I know that she is in a much better place than the rest of us and she is finally healed and rejoicing with her Lord and Savior. She will never be forgotten, and holds a special place in not only my heart but in the hearts of so many others. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this time, and I ask God to lift them up and give them strength and courage in this devastating time.

  4. Ms Curtis was an amazing math teacher and overall person. She tried every way possible to help all of her students understand math.

  5. Minnie and family, Sympathy to you in the loss of your beautiful daughter. Thoughts and prayers are with you as you adjust to this tremendous break in your family circle. Love, Colleen (Murray) Bunting

  6. Heaven has truly gained an angel! Our lives are blessed to have Tammy in them. I am honored to have called her my friend and I will carry her in my heart forever!

  7. Tammy, You were my chaperone on our trip to Europe. It was so much fun. I am saddened to hear of your health battle, but am glad to know that you are now perfect and whole. I will never forget our memories.

  8. Ms. Curtis was my algebra 2 teacher at NRMECHS. This was the only time I was privileged to be her student. She made a lasting impact on me and my fellow classmates. She was not only a fantastic teacher but she was a great person as well. I will be in continued pray for her family, but I am elated to know she now is in heaven with Christ. – Joshua Brantley

  9. I grew up with Tammy and her sister, Janet. Her family was always so good to my family throughout the years. I taught with Tammy for one year, and I admired her knack for always being ready for a party whether hosting one or going to one. The song by Chris Tomlin I Will Rise comes to mind. I know she is in a place where there is no more sorrow, no more pain. Tammy, enjoy the best party you have ever been too, and get our places at the table ready because we will see you again!!!
