We’ll never forget you Shelton for you were a great man and I remember how you use to message me on facebook just to see how we were doing and wanted to come by to take mom to get y’all a hot dog but then Melody got really sick then you and you weren’t ever able to make it for that hot dog date with my mother but we did get to see you for a few minutes at the hospital when Melody was in Nash General and I’ll never forget that’s the last time me, mom and my big sister Mary Kennedy got to see you now I know you’re a Angel bc you made it right with God so spread your wings and tell your daddy and Melody I said hi and y’all will always be remembered by us

We played baseball on the play ground at what was at that time Wilkinson Elementary School. We had fun back then. That was when he lived on the corner of Peachtree Street and Grace Street. Loss track of him as us kids in the neighborhood got older.

May you be comforted by hope, strengthened by your faith & guided by Gods love through the difficult days ahead. Always hold on to your loving memories, this will help you thou, the days months ahead. Always remember that God, loves you & well help you thou he hardest of times. He is near to those who are broken hearted & those who are crushed in spirit he saves. (Ps. 34 18) What a wonderful hope we have been given.
