ATLANTA GA - Sandra Lee Spencer Drain, age 47, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018. She was born in Lockport, NY on January 9, 1971. She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Sweitzer Spencer and her husband Phil Kunes; and sister, Bobby Jo Spencer.
Sandra leaves behind to cherish her memory, father, David Spencer (Paula) of Lockport, NY; daughters, Brayonna De La Fuente of Rocky Mount and Cyndra Clark of Raleigh; and son, Xzion Drain of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alanna Harris, Mya and Jayla De La Fuente, and Dontelvius "Don" Bullock, II; siblings, Karen Spencer Mott (Jerry) of Rocky Mount, Billy Jo Spencer, Leroy Sonker (Samatha), Christine Sonker, Tina Sonker, all of Lockport, NY, Philip Kunes (Kris) and Jennifer Kunes, both of Decatur, IN; her caring partner Rodney "R.B." Braswell of Atlanta, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Sandra's Life will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 258. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.
My deepest condolences to the family and friends. The God of tender mercies and comfort knows the pain and grief we experience when losing a loved one. He promise mankind through the scriptures according to Rev 214 to eliminate sickness and death forever. To the family of Sandra Drain sorry for your loss. Times like these can be very difficult so pray constantly. Phillipians 46-7 admonishes us to throw our anxieties on our Heavenly Father Jehovah, he in turn will strengthen you and place peace upon your mind and heart. I hope you all are able to find comfort and heal very soon.

To the family of sweet Sandy. My heart is so heavy as I know how hard she fought, how many tears she cried and how much she wanted to always be here for her babies. She loved you all, brayonna, cyndra, xzion and the grands so deeply and would have done anything to be here. I’m so sorry. I know how it feels to lose a parent, it cuts so deep. Know how proud she was of each of you, carry her strength, love yourself as she loved you. Always listen to that voice, the things she implanted in you, words of love, wisdom and encouragement and she will always be with you. Carry her in your heart. I am sincerely filled with sadness to hear about the passing of ms. sandra. I have fond memories from so long ago when her cherished daughter, Cyndra, and I were close friends. These memories will always have a special space in my heart , never forgotten. #prayers for the family

So sorry for your lost Sandy was a good friend an will be gratefully missed, offen spoke with her on Facebook, when I was going threw my transplant, she gave me comfort, to me an my son!!! Wish I was there to show her the same support!!! But No more pain….. she’s on the Better side were we will all meet again…. much love…
