ROCKY MOUNT - Sadie Albertson Pittman, age 91, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017. Born in Nash County, NC on May 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James and Nina Albertson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clifton Pittman.
Sadie leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Dennis Pittman; daughters, Brenda Spain and husband, Ronnie; and Janet Kea and husband, Bruce. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Robbie Spain and wife, Lynn; Christy Spain; Kim Haggerty and husband, Shepard; Holly Blythe and husband, Michael; and one great-grandchild, Sarah Spain.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Michael Creekmore officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service.

I was so sad to hear about Mrs. Pittmans passing. She was such a sweet lady and I hoping she would come and visit me in her home I bought from her but she told me the day I visited her around six months ago she still couldn’t bear the thought of not living there. I’m so grateful God put us in each of our lives and I’ll always cherish that bond.
