SEMPER FI! DEVIL DOG! You will be missed.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with all that are affected by his passing.
They say that fairy-book love stories only happen in the movies. I say that I have had the blessing to see a true fairy-book love story in real life. Linda, you and Rich were the best example of true sweethearts’, holding hands at every opportunity – even after 50 years of marriage, and saying I love you every single night, and many times in between. I so enjoyed Rich sharing his stories with me about growing up, learning to hunt and fish, the amazing times and wonderful memories made on the island. He was a special man, an adoring husband and I am so lucky to have had the honor to know him. He had a great sense of humor and wonderful chuckle & twinkle in his eye when he would tell his jokes. My heart aches for you and your family as you deal with Rich’s loss here on earth, but I know that he is pain-free, surrounded by love ones and light, and smiling down on you every moment of every day. All the love in the world to you my dear friend.

Linda & family, I was very sad to hear of Rich’s passing. I am blessed to have met him – his generosity & humor left me with a new hunting buddy who I have truly missed since moving away. He also provided me with an opportunity to make some wonderful memories with my own son that I will always cherish. Most importantly, the love that you & Rich displayed for one another was an inspiration that impacted more of us than you may ever know. My family is with yours in prayer. -Mike Turek

I am very sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Heineman. Death is a tragic event that causes deep pain and sorrow. I look forward to a time when we all can see and speak with our love ones. Stated at Rev. 214, there will be a time when pain, sorrow, outcry, and death will be no more. It is truly a blessing from God that he will fulfill. Wishing the family well.

Hi Dad, It’s been a week without you here. I miss you so much, and am so grateful for having you as my Father. I’ve thanked Mom many times for that this week as we relived decades of love, laughter, and heartfelt memories. You were always so devoted and loving to Mom, you always took time for us kids, whether sports, coaching, teaching us how to improve, encouraging us, or making us laugh with silly stories. Especially when I was up, scared at night. You’d make me laugh to forget what I was afraid of. You always made me feel safe, loved, and important to you. Like I could do anything, always letting me know how proud you were. You both were so dedicated and complimented each others strengths. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for you both and our life growing up. You are such an honest trusting spirit, always there to help someone, good to your family, your friends and neighbors. I pray that God has his arms wrapped around you keeping you safe. I know your body has no more pain. I wish I could have helped you from that. God’s will is one I’m learning to understand. My heart is absolutely broken without you here. You’ve been so important to me, so many good memories. I keep looking for you, and reminding myself you’re not here. Thank you for answering my prayers this week, I truly believe you’re with the Lord. I’ll love and miss you forever. The character, encouragement, time spent, laughter and lessons you taught me will never leave me, despite ups and downs. You set the bar so high for what I Iooked for in a real man to treat a woman. You loved Mom with dignity and all your heart. I’ll miss you with all of mine. Thank you for being my Dad. May God make his face to shine upon you. Philippians 4 6-7. Ephesians 6 10-17. Love you always, Sharon
My condolences to the family. I’m so sorry for your loss.
