Peter Patrick Cristallo

Rocky Mount – Peter Patrick Cristallo, age 84, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025.  Born in Brooklyn, New York on December 29, 1940, he was the son of the late Anthony Vito Cristallo and Theresa DiFiore Cristallo.  He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Rudolph Charles Regalbuto, Jr.

A veteran of the United States Navy, Peter proudly served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a Navy Lieutenant.  A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and good friend to many, Peter will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Peter is survived by his wife of 55 years, Saundra Lou Wiggins Cristallo of Rocky Mount; his daughter, Kevyan Ann Cristallo Sly (Robert) of Arlington VA; his grandson, Patrick Sly; his sister, Priscilla A. Cristallo Regalbuto; his niece, Bridget deLutio (Jonathan); his nephew, Nicholas Regalbuto (Colette); his great nieces and nephews, Anthony, Nicholas, Stella, and Luke deLutio and Vincent Regalbuto; and many extended family members and good friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804.  Burial will follow the services at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.  Visitation with the family will be on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
