ROCKY MOUNT-Nancy Sibley Webber Allen, age 83, passed away on Wednesday December 3, 2025. Born in Petersburg, VA on June 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William Slade Webber, Jr. and Ellen Byrd Sibley Webber.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lane Allen and her brother, William Slade Webber III.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and dear friend, Nancy will be deeply missed.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Katherine Kendal Allen Smith (John Bryan) of Seattle, WA; her son, Kenneth Lane Allen, Jr. (Mary Margaret) of Charlotte, NC; she was the proud “Nan Nan” to four grandsons: Henry Allen Smith (19), Kenneth Lane Allen III (16), William Turner Allen (15) and Thomas Carson Allen (12).

The family will hold a graveside service in the spring at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

  4. Kendy, I am so sad to hear about your mom. I have such good memories of her. I’ll always remember our Girl Scout Troop camping trip to Disney World with her. I don’t know who had more fun – you girls or the moms who went on the trip, too. We (the moms) stayed up most of every night laughing. I will keep you and your entire family in my prayers.
