Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I worked with Millie at ParkView Hospital and Nash General. She was a dedicated women to her children. Nothing but fond and good memories. Know she will be missed.

  2. I remember Aunt Millie’s smile and humor; she and Dad got those genes! She used to always say she was the prettiest of all; including the boys; a point that Dad would argue….since he thought he was the prettiest too! She was a fixture at Nash General and was still working there when I started in 2001 and just knowing she was there made it easier to come to work at a new place. I would like to have her style and wit…maybe between her and Dad ( and a little Mary Lois ), I’ve got a chance. We were blessed to have her.

  3. I remember Millie as always so pleasant and attractive from our years at Nash General…. such a sweet lady! Sending my deepest sympathy to her family!!

  4. Praying for Millie’s family. She will be missed so much because she was loved and cared for by her family. Pretty lady.

  5. I was honored to be shaped by Millie during my time as a candy striper at Nash General. Later I returned after college and was greeted by Millie when I was a part of the audit team… and she remembered me. What a blessing she was to all she shaped and greeted. Carolyn Twisdale

  6. My sincere condolences to the family. May the God of all comfort give you the comfort you need to endure this difficult time and the days ahead (2 Corinthians 13,4)

  7. So sorry to hear about Millie. We worked together for many years, took 2 trips to Nashville, Tn and several week-end trips to Gaston Lake. A group of us would go out to eat once a week-called girls night out. She was always the life of the party. I have missed her over the years because I no longer live in Rocky Mount. My condolences to all her family. She will surely be missed.
