Marsh Dresden Deaver

Marsh Dresden Deaver, age 74, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. Born in Cumberland County, NC on December 3, 1941, he was the son of the late Roscoe Ferrell Deaver and Mary Trevathan Deaver. Known by many friends as a jack of all trades, Marsh would welcome anyone with anything which would require fixing, his favorite being repairing old lawn mowers. His talent for helping others restore broken equipment came from his years as a machinist and welder for Super Lock Fontaine Fifth Wheels. He will be dearly missed by all those who loved and knew him. Marsh leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Dennis D. Deaver and his wife, Sharon, of Elm City; two grand-children, Derek Deaver and his wife Jessica and Alex Deaver; his two sisters Lucille Deans and Virginia Bills; and his brother Ferrell Deaver. Survivors also include many loved nieces and nephews. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services, 1130 N.
