Lydia Kate Strickland

Rocky Mount - Lydia Kate Strickland, age 6 weeks, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on October 27, 2015, she was the daughter of the Johnny Strickland II and Susan Williams Strickland. She was also preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Williams. Lydia leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents, John and Susan Strickland, her three brothers and her five sisters. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Vivian Williams, Manley and Regina Bright and Johnny and Ila Strickland. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Englewood Baptist Church, 1350 S. Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, with Dr. Michael Cloer officiating. Visitation with the family will be immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritans Purse, Childrens Heart Project, P. O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
