ROCKY MOUNT – Linda K. Morris, age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024.  Born in Dublin, GA on October 7, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Loyd Knight and Vestle Shannon Knight.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arlis Lloyd Morris, Jr.; her daughter, Tammy Johnson; and her brothers, Don Knight and Al Knight.

Linda was a very gifted artist and loved to create paintings and other arts and crafts.  She was a hairdresser for over 40 years and loved all her clients.  Linda was a good mother and an even better grandmother.  She never met a stranger and had many friends that she loved dearly in North Carolina and Georgia.

Linda is survived by her son, David Bowers and wife, Tana, of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Daniel Bowers and Kaylee Bowers; her sisters, Patricia Vann of Jacksonville, FL and Cathy Knight Smith of Bonaire, GA; and her special friend, Sherry Jones.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

  3. Linda K was a special friend to me too, I will miss her! I loved just hanging out, talking, and watching movies together. We made each other laugh a lot, and she left me with so many great memories. I am praying for all of her family.

  7. Wow I just heard of passing.. she did my hair and I was the 1st she used me on tattoo to my eye liner.. I and my mother use her not only for a hair ✂️. We had become friends.. it’s a shame we had to hear this threw the great vine.
