ROCKY MOUNT - Joe C. Radford, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Born in Greene County, NC on September 11, 1948, he was preceded in death by his father, Elwood Carr Radford. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Kirkland Radford; his mother Joceil Corbett Radford of Tarboro; brother, Gregory P. Radford and wife, Melody, of Rocky Mount; special sister-in-laws; numerous special nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and daughter, Wendy Johns. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services with Father Tim Meares officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
